You’ll find Tandala Trails Camp in a pristine traversing area on the northern property of Mongena Private Game Reserve with a view of the surrounding bushveld with an abundance of trees and game. The eco-friendly camp is fenced and solar-powered, offering guests an exclusive bush breaks experience in the free-roaming haven for lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, brown hyena, waterbuck, ostrich, jackal, hippo, crocodile and over 300 bird species, including fish eagles and a breeding pair of martial eagles. The resident trails guide will be hosting the guests with a daily morning or late afternoon activity either a game drive or a bush walk pending on the package chosen. A minimum stay of 2 nights is applicable with a choice of self-catering or a 3-day catered option.
Tandala Trails Camp offers accommodation in six tents, each sleeping up to two (2) people with twin beds, luggage racks, bedside tables, bed linen and towels. It features centrally located unisex ablution facilities consisting of 3 showers with hot water, 3 basins and toilets and an outdoor shower. Enjoy the central, communal covered dining and lounge lapa, adjacent to the open-air boma for those magical evenings around the fireplace. A fully equipped kitchen with crockery, glassware, cutlery, fridge, freezer, microwave, cooking utensils and braai completes the offering. A daily cleaning service is included.
No children under the age of 12 years are allowed.
Check-in is at Mongena Main Lodge with safe guest parking. Transfers to camp by safari vehicles.
